Iolite's kind of like a family in a way. Jaina is the responsible older sister who's not great at expressing herself. Vincent is the supportive older brother who looks after people but isn't actually that responsible about things. Obsidian is the baby brother who is easily hurt and wears his emotions openly and cares enough about everyone to make up for anyone who might not. Neji and Kyouko are the teenaged moody types. Celest is the second youngest and somehow mischievously innocent about things.

In short, he finds them all adorable in their own way and loves them all very much. Cutest family ever.
